The AI Vehicle Computer RS A2 is based on an NVIDIA Jetson TX2 module. It is shipped with a pre-installed NVIDIA Jetpack SDK (Software Development Kit) including the Linux operating system (L4T).
The AI Vehicle Computer RS A2 has been specially developed for vehicle use and complies with the UN-ECE-R10 type approval (E-Mark). In addition, the vehicle computer is designed for high shock and vibration levels. The AI-enabled computer supports the CAN-based network protocol SAE J1939, which is used in construction and agricultural machinery and in commercial vehicles. For precise positioning, the computer is equipped with a GNSS module that also supports dead reckoning. With LTE and Wi-Fi capability, it can be integrated into the Internet of Things (IoT).
The AI Vehicle Computer RS A2 is deployed in a wide range of vehicle types. These include AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), cars and trucks, buses, special vehicles, but also construction and agricultural machinery. In combination with sensor fusion, the Vehicle Computer is suitable for semi-autonomous driving or for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The embedded computer can also be used for AI-supported robotics applications.
