Syslogic and RidgeRun have announced a strategic partnership. Syslogic specializes in rugged embedded systems, while RidgeRun is a leader in embedded software development. Accordingly, the two companies are combining their expertise to offer a compelling package of software and hardware. The focus will be on computer vision applications for transportation, agriculture, robotics and smart cities. In particular, the two companies will focus on real-time video analysis and 360-degree image capture and processing.
RidgeRun has many years of experience in developing embedded software, especially for AI applications. The company also specializes in custom software solutions based on Linux. RidgeRun is also a specialist in driver development and optimization.
Syslogic, on the other hand, has made a name for itself with embedded systems for demanding environmental conditions. For joint projects, Syslogic relies on AI-enabled embedded computers based on NVIDIA Jetson SoMs (System on Modules). Both RidgeRun and Syslogic are NVIDIA Preferred Partners.
