PointPerfect Global: Syslogic integrates global GNSS correction service

AI-enabled edge devices combined with RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) technology are a real game changer. That's why embedded specialist Syslogic relies on GNSS technology from U-Blox in its NVIDIA Jetson-based embedded systems. As one of the leading providers of positioning and short-range communication technologies, U-Blox has just unveiled PointPerfect Global. This is a high-precision GNSS correction service that enables centimeter-accurate positioning worldwide. This is particularly useful in remote areas and without existing mobile phone coverage. PointPerfect Global uses advanced PPP-AR technology (Precise Point Positioning with Ambiguity Resolution) and delivers corrections via the Internet or L-band satellite transmission. The global service achieves convergence times of less than two minutes and accuracy of less than ten centimeters.

The new service simplifies the use of mobile systems and vehicles in remote areas. Precision farming and autonomous construction machinery in particular benefit from the new service. In conjunction with a rugged computer from embedded specialist Syslogic, PointPerfect Global is a highly accurate GNSS/RTK solution that offers high flexibility with minimal dependence on existing infrastructure. Syslogic has developed an all-band GNSS expansion card for easy integration into an NVIDIA Jetson-based embedded computer. This is based on the X20 platform from U-Blox, which is specially designed for PointPerfect Global.

Early access to PointPerfect Global will begin at the end of 2025, with general availability expected in the first quarter of 2026. Syslogic will keep its customers informed.
