With the IPC/SIC4 PC/104 expansion cards, four serial interfaces can be added to all Syslogic compact industrial PCs. Each channel can be assigned individually as a RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 interface. The four serial interfaces are made available either using a 36-pin Weidmüller plug or individually according to the DSUB-9 industrial standard. The PC/104 expansion cards can also be electronically isolated on delivery (optional). As on the embedded computers, the Syslogic expansion cards also meet stringent industrial standards. The expansion cards are thus designed for an extended temperature range of between –40 and +85 °C.
