The module is based on the Hilscher field bus controller netX100. The field bus protocol can be loaded as master or slave directly to the board.
The product supports different protocols such as CANopen, PROFIBUS, PROFINET or EtherCAT. The different versions could be used as a stand alone unit for protocol converter or in combination with a Syslogic COMPACT industrial PC. The dual port memory acts as data interface to the main CPU.
Beside BSPs for the common operating systems, there are reliable software expansions for CodeSys (SoftSPS) and other visualization software available.
