The fanless industrial PCs in the Compact S series come with x7-E3950 or x5-E3930 processors from Intel Atom (Apollo Lake-I). This allows the maintenance-free industrial PCs to bridge the gap between high performance and lower performance processing. The industrial PCs with E3950 processors have more than 2 gigahertz at 18 watts, and, for the E3930 version, it’s 1.8 gigahertz at 10 watts. This makes the Compact S series suitable for 24/7 operation in temperature ranges of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius.
The industrial PC in the Compact S series is also a winner because of its sturdy build and unique interface pinout. The embedded PC has LAN, USB, RS232 and a DVI interface, it can be equipped with up to three ethernet ports, CAN or RS485 and it can be expanded with WLAN, GPS, GSM and Bluetooth modules.
